Mr Jonathan

Jonathan Barbeau, when a high school freshman, took a job as a floor guard at a roller rink. When the DJ called in sick, he was quickly thrown into the booth, where he impressed the crowd with a mix of 80s and 90s hits, including the crowd-pleasing “Soul Man.” His natural ability to engage the audience led to a fast rise in his DJ career, and within a year, he became the top DJ at the rink. Six years later, he launched his own business, “Mr. Jonathan Is My DJ.” Today, he’s a successful DJ and MC, and in 2015, he was inducted into the Living Legends of Dance at age 37.
